Award Profile
The Fulbright Trinity Laban Award covers the first year of any taught master's programme in Music, Dance, or Musical Theatre and the Artist Diploma in Music.
Trinity Laban trains pioneering performing artists working at the forefront of their artforms, and developing new ones. Established over 150 years, our collaborative and interdisciplinary approach will give you the tools to enhance your practice and develop your unique voice.
You will join our dynamic and diverse community of 1,300 students from more than 60 countries, studying at our award-winning sites by the river in Greenwich, one of the most attractive, historic and vibrant parts of London. The surrounding neighbourhood provides the best of both worlds: plenty of space to think and breathe plus easy and quick access into the centre of London, one of the world’s greatest cultural cities. Our world-leading conservatoire training supports our students to develop their careers as professional performers, creators and educators. Our past Fulbright scholars have used dance to explore PTSD in Veterans, launched a music outreach project for inner-city teens, investigated the psychological and physiological bases for pain tolerance in dancers, and developed a queer performance theory around Classical works.
MA Music Education /Music Education and Performance
In addition to your Fulbright submission, most Trinity Laban programmes require an audition or portfolio review for admission. To ensure candidates meet our admissions requirements before shortlisting we strongly recommend that you complete your Trinity Laban application by 30th November 2024.
Please note that the MFA, MMus, and MA Music Education and Performance are two-year programmes. Scholars applying for these programmes should be prepared to self-fund their second year of study.
