What is life like for Fulbrighters in the host country?
Andorra is a small place. People know each other and it is easy to meet someone you know in the street and say hello!, although there are people who think that it is not so easy to integrate.
It is easy to get from one place to another on foot or by public transport because everything is close by. The climate, although sometimes cold in winter, is mild in autumn and spring, so you can always go for a walk.
Daily life is not difficult as services are accessible and open long hours. It is easy to eat in a restaurant, find a doctor or buy any product. The cost of living is a little high and it is not easy to find a place to live, but the Fulbright Post in Andorra can offer some advice to help.
ETAs have free time after class and can spend it going to the mountains, playing sports in one of the many sports facilities in Andorra, participating in the activities of a cultural association, visiting museums, walking or shopping in the city centre, learning other languages .... whatever they prefer.
