In case of holding a dual citizenship, an awardee has to enter Thailand as an American citizen, using an American passport.

Foreign Language Proficiency
Additional Information: Thai language proficiency may be required, depending in the proposed project. Applicants without Thai language skills should include plans for language study in their Fulbright projects.

Affiliation
Letter required for independent study or research at deadline
All grantees must affiliate with Thai universities/academic institutions. Applicants must include affiliation letters with their Fulbright applications. The Fulbright Commission in Thailand will assist candidates who have been offered awards in formalizing their affiliations.

Stipend Amount

Monthly stipend: Baht 25,000 for Bangkok location; Baht 22,500 for provincial locations
Monthly housing allowance: Baht 14,000 for Bangkok location; Baht 8,000 for provincial locations
Monthly research allowance: Baht 4,000
